Our Commitment
ECPC is committed to making its Platform accessible to all early-childhood professionals, including those with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard most widely recognized by U.S. courts and regulators.
What We Do
• Design and build with accessibility in mind (semantic structure, keyboard navigation, sufficient color contrast, alternative text for meaningful images, captions/transcripts for video where feasible).
• Offer the site in English and Spanish.
• Review accessibility as part of our development process and conduct periodic automated and manual checks.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. New content and third-party components can introduce issues, so we monitor and remediate over time. We do not rely on "accessibility overlay" widgets as a substitute for real conformance.
