ECPC respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and your rights. It applies to ecpcircle.org and related services.

1. Information We Collect

• Account & profile: name, email, password (hashed), role/segment, organization, and profile details you provide.

• Membership & billing: subscription tier, transaction history, and payment status. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe; ECPC does not store full card numbers.

• Content & activity: courses accessed, progress, quiz/assignment submissions, discussion posts, reviews, saved resources, and lesson plans you create.

• Communications: newsletter subscription status, emails you send us, and contact-form submissions.

• Technical: IP address, browser/device type, and basic usage logs needed to operate and secure the Platform.

2. How We Use Information

To provide and personalize the Platform; process payments and manage your membership; deliver courses and community features; send transactional messages and (with your consent where required) newsletters; provide support; ensure security and prevent fraud; comply with law; and improve our services.

3. How We Share Information

We share personal information only with:

• Service providers who operate the Platform on our behalf under contract — e.g., Stripe (payments), MailerLite (email), and our hosting provider. They may use the data only to perform services for ECPC.

• Organization administrators, if you join through an employer/organization account — they may see your membership status, course completion, and seat usage.

• Legal/safety recipients when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

• Business transfers (merger/acquisition), subject to this policy.

ECPC does not sell your personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Cookies & Tracking

See the Cookie & Tracking Technologies Policy. ECPC uses only the cookies necessary to run the site and keep you logged in; we do not currently run third-party advertising or session-replay trackers. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide a consent mechanism.

5. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of any sale/sharing or targeted advertising. To exercise rights, contact [email protected]. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by your state's law. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Where offered, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as opt-out requests.

6. Data Retention & Security

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the Platform and meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations (auto-renewal consent records are retained at least 3 years). We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards; no system is 100% secure. In the event of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and regulators as required by applicable law.

7. Children

The Platform is for adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it.

8. International Users

ECPC operates in the United States; if you access the Platform from elsewhere, you consent to processing in the U.S.

9. Changes

We will post updates with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice.
